Apply for a scholarship
Launching Life’s Leaders provides recipients with a full scholarship to participate in a local Scouts BSA troop, as well as a partial scholarship for post-secondary education to each participant who attains the rank of Eagle Scout.
Who is eligible?
• Open to youth ages 11-17
• Ideal to apply when entering 6th-9th grades
• Must live in Ridgefield, CT and not be a current BSA Scout
• Candidate must be a current member of Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club on scholarship
OR candidate’s family must qualify for a local, state or national financial aid program
(examples include but are not limited to HUSKY, SNAP, CEAP, housing subsidy, etc.)
How do I apply?
Applications are accepted twice per year for Spring and Fall troop enrollments.
February 1 - April 15 for Spring enrollment
July 1 - October 15 for Fall enrollment
